A company announces something. Most of the commentary repeats the announcement. These are my reads of what actually happened underneath, from a career running support and customer experience operations.
Each one covers four things: the move, what happened and where it is documented. What it actually is, the mechanism under the announcement. What nobody is saying, checked against the existing commentary rather than assumed. The questions I would ask.
Every read ends in questions and never in a prediction. Predictions age badly. Questions stay useful.
Reads
Notion changed how it charges. The hiring came after.
Four new go-to-market roles, and the reason is a pricing decision from May. What a consumption motion actually asks of the people running it, and the measurement nobody has specified.
More reads as they are written. There is no schedule and there will not be one until the format has proven itself.
